About Medical Communicating
Sometimes controversial, sometimes seen as humdrum and often taken for granted, medical and scientific communications and communicators only seem to hit the news for the wrong reasons (just one example: http://tinyurl.com/79slqt).
Yet, professionals involved in communicating about science and medicine know that communicating well is vital for advancing science and healthcare. Everyday, a broad spectrum of professionals (from high science and academic medicine, coal-face healthcare professionals, science and medical writers to commercial biotech and pharmaceutical sector employees) work together ethically, accurately and effectively to communicate the latest advances in science and medicine. It is for these professionals that this blog might be useful, with the aim of covering informative and positive explorations about medical communications.
The goal is not to be (too) controversial but who knows what Pandora’s box a blog might open?
